RULES AND REGULATIONS

Don't drive down Fort Velasco or Blue Water Hwy. Operating the golf cart on these roadways is dangerous and illegal. Be sure to check with your vacation rental to make sure you can take the cart to your rental.
Don't drive into or near the water - this includes, but is not limited to : bays, boat docks, the shoreline, the ocean, puddles, etc. Allow at least 100' feet of distance from the water. (Water damage fees are $2000-$20,000). EACH UNIT IS EQUIPPED WITH A SENSOR.
Don't allow anyone else who is not authorized operate the vehicle at anytime. This will result in the revocation of the rental without refund.
Don't drive past Treasure Island
Do not drive into or near dunes, marshes, or any other non-road areas. Golf carts must only be operated on designated golf cart paths or the beach. The beach is considered a public roadway and is permitted for driving.
Don't operate the vehicle without proper restraints at any given time. This applies to all passengers in the vehicle- including adults and children. No children or any other occupant can ride in the laps of other passengers.
Remember, golf carts are considered motor vehicles in Surfside & the same traffic laws apply.(Including, open containers, DWI laws.)
